What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run Seedance Studio and your account.

  • Account information: email, authentication identifiers, and basic profile details from Supabase sign-in (Google OAuth or email magic link).
  • Generation inputs: prompts, selected settings, and workflow parameters you submit to request video generation.
  • Generation outputs: generated videos and related metadata stored in Cloudflare R2.
  • Billing information: Stripe handles payment processing and card data. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Usage analytics: product and site usage data through PostHog and Plausible, with anonymized IP handling in analytics flows.

How we use data

  • Provide and maintain the service, including authentication, generation, and storage.
  • Prevent abuse, enforce safety policies, and investigate misuse or fraud.
  • Understand product usage and improve reliability, quality, and user experience.

Sub-processors

We use the following vendors to operate Seedance Studio:

Supabase provides authentication, fal.ai processes generation data, Stripe processes payments, Topaz provides upscaling, Cloudflare R2 stores generated media, OpenAI supports moderation, and PostHog provides product analytics.

  • fal.ai: video generation provider access if generation is live.
  • Topaz Labs: upscaling to higher resolutions.
  • Supabase: database and authentication.
  • Cloudflare: R2 object storage and CDN delivery.
  • Stripe: payment processing and billing records.
  • OpenAI: content moderation support.
  • PostHog: product analytics.
  • Plausible: privacy-focused web analytics.

Data retention

  • Generation records and outputs are kept until you delete them.
  • Account data is deleted within 90 days after a verified deletion request.
  • Billing records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.

User rights

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for core functionality and analytics.

  • Authentication cookies keep you signed in securely.
  • A brand cookie remembers your selected Seedance domain experience.
